The Vision

The vision of Lake Country Christian School is for our local, national and global community to know and recognize the excellence of our students, alumni, faculty and staff, not only because of their academic and career success, but for their strong godly character and moral living.

Fulfilling a Mission

Our mission is to educate, equip and encourage Christian leaders to fulfill their God-given purpose and impact their culture. Our educational philosophy is based upon a God-centered view that all truth is God’s truth and that the Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God.

Strengthening Students’ Faith

Our role is an extension of the Christian home and local church. We believe one can only have a relationship with God by faith in Jesus Christ. We are committed to strengthening students’ saving faith in Christ and teaching them who they are in Him.

Providing Opportunities for Discovery and Growth

We believe that every individual is valuable in the eyes of God and that every person has a unique contribution to give the world. We provide an atmosphere that unleashes and trains the God-given abilities that make each person distinctive.

Focusing on the Whole Person

Because we believe that a balance in academic, spiritual, artistic, physical, and social training serves to develop the whole person, we encourage participation in many disciplines. For example, participation in the fine arts encourages creative thinking, discovery, individual talent, confidence, and communication skills. Similarly, when physical training is combined with mental and spiritual prowess in athletics, students develop Christian character, athletic skills, and unselfish team spirit.

Pursuing Excellence

There is a passionate commitment to pursue excellence in all programs of LCCS. Each Spring, the administration and faculty, with the support of the LCCS Board, begins planning for the year to come. Constant, continual, incremental improvement is the result of mission-directed objectives and goals written and fulfilled in measurable ways for each department and program of the school. Over thirty years of focused direction have resulted in a school that continues to remain true to its mission and vision….whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God (2 Corinthians 10:31).
