Elementary School Teacher

ROLE/PURPOSE

The role of an LCCS teacher is to educate and mentor students through educational instruction toward LCCS expected outcomes.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

The expectations for the position of teacher at Lake Country Christian School shall include, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Spiritual Leadership

Band Director

Lake Country Christian School in northwest Fort Worth is seeking an enthusiastic leader and qualified candidate for the full-time position of BAND DIRECTOR.

RESPONSIBILITIES  

Band Duties include (but are not confined to):

  • Coordination of curriculum for 5th grade, 6th grade, 7/8 grade and HS band classes
  • Performance at football games, pep rallies, Fall and Spring concerts, and TPSMEA concert contest
  • Supervision of adjunct band staff
  • Develop a marching band program for home games and competitions

Transportation Manager

Lake Country Christian School is seeking a qualified individual to coordinate vehicle maintenance and repairs on our four buses, two people movers, and one pickup. The individual would schedule buses and drivers, and drive trips as needed.

Qualifications and expectations:

  • Must have a clean driving record per insurance requirements
  • Must have a CDL with Class B endorsement
  • Must have Passenger endorsement
  • Must be willing and able to drive trips as needed (may include overnight trips)
  • Must interact well with students and staff

Substitute Teacher

LCCS is seeking qualified candidates for Activity Bus Drivers! This is not a bus route position but for extracurricular trips such as field trips, retreats, athletics, and fine arts competitions, etc.

Seasonal Coaching Staff As Needed

We are seeking additional seasonal coaches in various sports. This would be for middle school coaches or assistant coaches for an in-season sport-specific stipend position.

  • Follow all of the policies and procedures set forth by the Administration.
  • Implement the mission, vision, and philosophy of athletics and coaching prescribed by the athletic director. 
  • Understand and implement the policies set forth in the athletic policies.
  • Contribute to a positive professional environment within the coaching staff.
  • Exhibit punctuality for practices, games, and staff meetings.
  • Relate in a professional, fair, unbiased manner with all students, parents, and faculty members. 
  • Handle information pertaining to students, parents, and other teaching and administrative staff confidentially. 
  • Inform the Assistant Athletic Director & Athletic Director of challenges and achievements associated with his/her student-athletes.
  • Encourage and model biblical standards of conduct and foster growth of Christian character for student-athletes.
  • Effectively and accurately communicate all pertinent team information to parents and athletes according to the athletic department policy.
  • Create a positive and effective practice program for student-athletes.
  • Set high expectations for athletic performance for all student-athletes that will be evident in game situations.
  • Attend coaching clinics and other professional development training as prescribed by the athletic director.
