Class of 1988

 

Christopher "Chris" Jones lives in Houston, Texas with his wife, Connie and their 2 ½ year old son, Dylan. Chris is a partner with the law firm of Crady, Jewett and McCulley, LLP. He specializes in tax and partnership law.  His wife, Connie, is also a lawyer who practiced in intellectual property law with a specialty in genetics.  She "retired" this year to spend more time with Dylan.

Class of 1993

 

Karis L. Hall is currently living in Kirkland, Washington, just north of Seattle on Lake Washington.  She is a software trainer for Follett Software Company.

Allison McAlister Burchyett lives in Hernando, Mississippi, where she teaches high school health and volleyball and is the track coach. She has been married for ten years to Tyler Burchyett.  They have a son, Barrett, who is two, and a baby due in early June, 2007.  Her volleyball team won the State Championship in 2006.

K. Kristen Whitbeck lives in Fort Worth and teaches at Lake Country. She is the student council sponsor, mission and community service coordinator, and instructor in World Geography as well as freshmen girls and sophomore New Testament Bible class. During the summer of 2005, she celebrated her 30th birthday with a three-week trip to Italy. She spent 2002-2003 school year living in northeastern England doing missionary work with a family. "Missions is my passion, and in the last five years, I have been able to travel with and lead groups to Romania, Scotland, England, Belgium, Germany, Spain, Argentina, Mexico, and Kenya.  In March of 2007 the Lake Country missions will travel to Cape Town, South Africa as well as through Austria and Italy."

Class of 1994

 

Mishann Nelson-Holden lives in New Waverly, Texas.  She is a wife and mother who also runs a small business renovating houses and selling nutritional supplements.  She and her husband have three step children: Alexis (10), MacKenzie (8), and Victoria (6); plus one birth child, Faith (4), and another due in July.

Class of 1995

 

C. Alan Meadows lives in Oklahoma City and is a captain and pilot in the US Air Force. His is recently married to his wife, Amanda. His news to pass on: "recently married; currently deployed; completely thrilled!"

Class of 1997

 

Laura Jones Montgomery graduated from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee with a degree in Mathematics and Secondary Education in 2001. After marrying her LCCS high school sweetheart, Daniel, after graduation, she went on to complete her master's degree in Mathematics Education at Vanderbilt University in 2003. While at Vanderbilt, she worked as the Program Coordinator for the Vanderbilt Program for Talented Youth, a summer program for educationally gifted students. She also coordinated the Duke Talent Identification Program recognition ceremony for the state of Tennessee. In the fall of 2003, she returned to Fort Worth to become a high school mathematics and chemistry teacher for LCCS. She started her fourth year teaching at LCCS this fall, and serves as the chair of the science department.  In July of 2006, Laura and Daniel welcomed Emma Rose Montgomery into their family. After staying at Cook Children's Hospital for 3 weeks due to heart defects and open heart surgery, Emma Rose is healthy and growing- she shows off her dimples all the time!
 
Class of 1998
 
ReEtta Roever (Lindamood) is dance instructor and cheerleading coach at Lake Country.  She is married to Anthony and has one son, Owen, who turned two on November 6th. ReEtta has been coaching middle and high school cheerleading at LCCS for 6 ½ years, and with the support of the administration, has begun a dance program for middle and high school students, who take her classes in place of P.E. she is also the strength and flexibility coach for the new football team, stressing the fundamentals of Pilates. She has choreographed ten musicals over the past six years including The Sound of Music, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, and Annie, Fiddler on the Roof, and Beauty and the Beast. In addition to her work at LCCS, she is a freelance choreographer for other programs in the metroplex. "I am constantly busy but I love what I do, and I am blessed by the people I encounter every day.  I wouldn't have it any other way!"

Kimberly Morgan (Massey) lives in Roanoke, Texas and is a contract administrator for Bell Helicopter in Hurst, Texas.  She and her husband, Dorian, were married in October, 2002. "No children, yet."

Matthew Snow lives in North Richland Hills, Texas, and is owner of City Wide Landscape Management.  He has been in business for over nine years providing lawn and landscape services to North Richland Hills and surrounding communities. His wife, Jenny, is in her first year of teaching third grade at Donna Park Elementary in Hurst, HEB school district. "God is doing awesome things with our church body, www.WellSpringdfw.org."

Class of 1999


Sarah Donathan (Jordan) lives in Fort Worth and is the logistics coordinator for The Bombay Company.  She and her husband, Scott, have been married since 2001.  Their son, Connor, who is three years old, is a PreK-3 student at LCCS.

Jenny Richard (Van Wagner) lives in Frisco, North Carolina, which is a small town on Cape Hatteras Island. She is the praise and worship leader and her husband, Eddie, is the youth pastor at Heritage of Faith Family Church. They have two daughters.  Mackenzie (3) loves to sing and dance and will start pre-school in January. Avery (20 months) likes to do everything her sister does, and both girls love having stories read to them. Jenny and Eddie met in bible school in Texas.

 

Jaron Turnbow lives in Dallas and is a warehouse manager handling shipping/receiving and administration. He has a son, Caleb. "Anyone feel free to contact me.  It's never a bad idea to stay in touch with classmates.  Hopefully, going to SMU next year almost eight years after graduating. My big thing is country western dancing, and I'm hoping to start teaching it soon. I won first place in a state competition and have been in a few music videos with country dancing. LOVE IT! God bless everyone, and I hope everyone is doing great."

Molly Durham (Colglazier) lives in Mesa, Arizona and is a senior environmental technician with Phelps Dodge Miami Smelter.

Bonnie Daman (Snow) lives in Fort Worth. After graduating from LCCS, she graduated from TCU in May, 2005, with a BS in advertising and public relations. In July, 2005, she married her husband, John, who is originally from Seattle, WA. She currently works for a national business magazine called $1,000,000aire Blueprints doing research, writing, and editing. "In my free time I volunteer with local community theaters including Onstage in Bedford where I recently joined the publicity/newsletter team. I am also working toward becoming a licensed massage therapist to start my own business and to have a flexible work environment when I might be a stay-at-home mom."

Kevin Dodson lives in North Richland Hills, Texas, and is a high school teacher at LCCS.  He also attends classes working towards a graduate degree at the University of Dallas.  He is married to Deborah (Norris) Dodson.
