Biblical Integration
LCCS seeks to honor the Lord in each academic area
offered. Every teacher continually integrates Biblical truths, stories, and
concepts into the curriculum. Each academic discipline at LCCS is founded upon
a specific list of ten Biblical Core Truths for that class. These Core Truths
and numerous supporting scriptures were created by the faculty members in that
discipline.

Hands-on Middle
School Science
In middle school science, lessons are learned by a
variety of methods. Active learning by
doing and experimenting is common. For example, students build miniature biomes
volcanoes, catapults and bridges.
Computer Projects
In middle school computer classes, students are using
Excel and Power Point to create budgets and presentations for
school-improvement projects. Examples of what some groups are doing include a
school "Spirit Gear" store, a school media center, a student lounge, and an
Eagle swimming pool. The students are researching their creative ideas while
keeping within their allotted budgets.
Art
In middle art classes, students learn art terms, art
history and experience and create in a variety of mediums.
