Current Outreach

• Canned Food Drives
  The entire school gets involved in helping bring canned food for food banks such as Life Unlimited, Saginaw Link Mission and others. We gather over 1500 cans of food each year.
• Starbucks Toy Drive
  LCCS sponsors a toy drive working with the Saginaw Starbucks each year at Christmas . All toys collected go to local Cook's Children's Hospital. Starbucks kicks off the year with free coffee for high school students on the first day to encourage participation.
• Hats on for Cancer
  The HS Student Council sponsors Hats on for Cancer to benefit kids dealing with cancer. The fundraiser is simple and a lot of fun! For contributions of $5.00, students will be allowed to wear a hat to school. This fundraiser was started by a student who had a friend with cancer. It is now a national event run by Children With Cancer Foundation.
• School Supplies for Mexico
  Each year during our annual mission trip to Mexico, we collect school supplies for the children in the area we visit.

• Valentine's cards - sent over 300 personal cards to Cook's Children's Hospital
