LCCS has a new department called Visual and Competitive Performance which includes cheerleading and dance. This department was created to provide a place for unique programs to develop with appropriate structure, facilities, and instruction.
The philosophy of the Department of VACP is to build Christ-like characteristics, in each participant involved in the programs offered. The members will learn how to fully express their gifts and talents, to the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ. The students will also learn and utilize qualities such as leadership, commitment, diligence, responsibility, effective communication, and problem solving. The participants will also enhance and advance their technical skills in order to perform with excellence and honor. The goal is to passionately perform under a unified love and loyalty toward our Savior, each other, and to the teams we are supporting. |
