High School Student Council

The Student Council provides students the opportunity to participate in a representative governing body at an appropriate level for high school students. It also assists with New Student Orientation, Open House, Spirit Week, Love Your Neighbor Week, Homecoming, Spring Formal, and other such activities as needed.

The Student Council represents the student body with each grade having two representatives on the Council. Officers are elected each spring. Students participating in Student Council must demonstrate a good Christian testimony in citizenship, attitude, actions, and in conversation. Certain grade and discipline marks are necessary for participation. Students desiring to be candidates must also complete an election form and be approved by the school faculty.

The president and vice-president of the high school Student Council are from the 11th or 12th grades and the secretary and treasurer are from grades 10-12. All officers shall have served previously as a class representative.
 

Middle School Student Council

The LCCS Middle School Student Council is made up of representatives from each class. Students participating in Student Council must demonstrate a good Christian testimony in citizenship, attitude, actions, and conversation. The Middle School Student Council assists with New Student Orientation, Open House, the Fall Retreat, the Christmas Decorating Contest and Christmas Party, the Fabulously Fun Fridays in February, Valentine's Day parties, the Class trips, the MS Team Day, and 8th Grade graduation lunch.
