According to our MS/HS Handbook (pg 22), students are allowed 5 Grace Days from September through April during the school year. A Grace Day is a scheduled day that is considered a parent generated absence, but is excused. All Grace Days must be approved by the secondary administration. In order to take a Grace Day, a Grace Day Form must be filled out by the parent and returned to the school office no later than 24 hours in advance of the scheduled Grace Day. Homework should be requested before leaving by the student and is due upon return. Grace Days are not permitted during semester finals, finals reviews or during May without special approval from the secondary principal.  Below is the form that can be downloaded and brought into the office.
