The first annual ZEBSTRONG Memorial Golf Tournament was held last week. Zeb Montgomery passed away last year from cancer at the age of 14. He was the son of David (LCCS Class of 1993) and Ronna Montgomery. An avid soccer player, Zeb’s dream was to send soccer balls all over the world as a way to spread the Gospel. Soccer balls have already been given out all around the world, including on the three LCCS high school mission trips last spring to the Czech Republic, El Salvador, and West Virginia. Our 2017 trips will allow us to distribute soccer balls in Colorado and Costa Rica.
Proceeds will help further realize Zeb’s dream by providing for more soccer balls to be sent around the globe. We were honored to share in this event with LCCS alumni. Pictured from the Class of 1998 are Daniel Montgomery, Andrew Bah, and Chad Curlee at the hole sponsored by LCCS. Daniel and Chad also have current students at LCCS.
