What a blessing to be a part of the LCCS Parent Prayer Team. This will be the third year we have been meeting together, and it has been a blessing to pray for the school and with these wonderful people who have been so faithful.
Our first meeting of the year was September 7. We had our returning group, plus three new people! We now have two men in our group. We also have one new member attending from Lake Country Church. The third new member we have is Emma Earwood. She is our new Head of School Mark Earwood’s mom. Emma is an amazing lady and a wonderful prayer warrior. She will be assisting me with seeking God’s direction for the team and she will be helping me and filling in when I am unable to be there to lead.
God has great plans for LCCS, and we are so glad that we are able to be a part of seeing those plans unfold. We have been having the Prayer Team during the school year on the 1st Thursday of the month at 8:00 am in the LCCS Chapel. In our first meeting there were those who wanted to increase the times we met as a team, so we will also be meeting on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 7:30 am. We have extended the time for these meetings, because there are those who would be able to come at this earlier time and be a part of the team for the second meeting. We are praying and believing that this will open the doors for even more parents to attend! This prayer time will start at 7:30 am and end at 9:00 am.
We want to invite anyone who would like to be a part of the Prayer Team to attend…one or both of the meetings…for 30 minutes or the entire time. We look forward to seeing what God is going to do this year with the Prayer Team and all the things He has planned for LCCS!
