Respect Agreement(Required) I have read and agree to the LCCS Respect AgreementIn order to help the student establish good habits and uphold Biblical standards in regards to lifestyle, LCCS has certain expectations for behavior 24/7/365. LCCS students represent God, their family, and their school AT ALL TIMES. Students are to maintain Christian Biblical standards of respect, courtesy, kindness, morality and honesty. (Exodus 20:1-17, Leviticus 19:11, 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, Hebrews 13:5). We hold our students to a higher standard and expect them to use polite expressions such as “Mr., Mrs., Miss, please and thank you”, etc. Students are to show respect for all adults and peers. (1 Peter 5:5, Hebrews 13:7) Respect is to be given to flag salutes and prayer, whether in an assembly or in a classroom, to honor our Lord and our country. Students must show respect for all school property. Each student is to refrain from profanity, indecent language, gambling, cheating, bullying, sexual immorality (including homosexuality, transgenderism, and viewing & distributing pornography), stealing, the use of any type of tobacco, drugs, alcohol, and from participation in occult, unlawful, violent, or destructive acts. (Exodus 20:14, Leviticus 18:7-23, Leviticus 20:10-21, Deuteronomy 5:18, Matthew 5:27-28 and 19:4-9, Romans 1:26-27, 1 Corinthians 6:9-13, 18-20, 1 Thessalonians 4:3-4, Hebrews 13:4, Galatians 5:19, Ephesians 4:17-19, 28, Colossians 3:5-9) Students are to adhere to the behavior, academic, and dress code requirements as stated in the handbook. (Romans 13:1-2, John 8:31, 2 Timothy 3:16, John 14:15) This is a partnership between the school, the parent, and the student. The school will enforce these standards to the best of its ability. The parent enforces these standards while the student is associated with Lake Country Christian School during the school term and the summer. LCCS students involved in illegal/immoral activities are subject to disciplinary action on a case by case basis, which could include expulsion. If students are currently involved in these activities and are repentant and wish to remain at LCCS, they should come forward to an administrator. In such cases, an accountability program may be set up in lieu of expulsion.Electronic Signature Δ
