Nine students from Lake Country Christian School auditioned for placement in the TPSMEA All-State Band. An LCCS record of five students made the band! These students competed against many private schools across the state ranging in size from 1A-5A.

Katie Reese, 8th grade, 2nd chair trumpet
Reese Garcia, 8th grade, 8th chair trumpet
Emilie Thompson, 10th grade, 11th chair trumpet
Luke Light, 8th grade, 4th chair french horn
Evan Smith, 11th grade, 4th chair tuba
They will participate in the TPSMEA All-State Band Clinic & Concert held January 28-30, and will learn from guest clinician David Willson, Director of Bands at Ole Miss.
Mr. Martin and the entire band staff are so proud of these students and their accomplishments! They have made LCCS history with a record number of placements in the All-State Band!
