Congratulations to Moriah Gonzales on winning first place in the Congressional Art Competition! Her winning entry, representing the 12th Congressional District of Texas, is pictured with Congresswoman Kay Granger. The Artistic Discovery contest is sponsored annually by the U.S. House of Representatives.
In addition to winning a ribbon, plaque, Congressional certificate, and scholarship opportunities, Moriah’s artwork will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol for one year. She will also be given two tickets to fly to Washington, D.C. to see it at an awards reception.
