Hunter Sikes was awarded the John Philip Sousa Band Award. This award is given to students demonstrating superior musicianship, leadership, dependability, and loyalty. The Sousa Award is a national award and the most prestigious award for high school band students. Hunter will attend Abilene Christian University in the fall.
Riley Henderson was awarded the Leonard Bernstein Musicianship Award. This award honors students whose musical contributions, dedication, and creativity set them apart as deserving of the highest recognition for their achievements. This is the inaugural year of this national award given through the Leonard Bernstein Family Foundation. Riley will attend Belmont University in the fall.
