An Amazing Night Out will start the process of streamlining campus asks (Annual Giving Fund, North Texas Giving Day, Jubilee, and Boosterthon Fun Run) into one celebratory ask. It is similar to the Annual Giving Fund event that you have known and generously participated in for many years. It is the same as the AGF in the following ways:

– 100% participation is needed
– it supports the operational budget of LCCS
– it will take place annually
– every gift is tax-deductible
– participation can take place in person at the event or by submitting donation(s) online, or via cash/check before/after.

An Amazing Night Out is different from the Annual Giving Fund in that it:

– is not one of additional “ask events” you will participate in each academic year (i.e. Jubilee, Boosterthon Fun Run and North Texas Giving Day)
– it will be the sole “ask event” for LCCS
– this event will not only address operational expenses, but also the Academic, Athletic and Fine Arts needs of LCCS

Lake Country Christian School is more than a school – it is a community of Christian families with common purpose. The Advancement Department of LCCS exists to assist our community of parents, grandparents, alumni, faculty, students and friends in supporting LCCS through giving. We offer a variety of opportunities that include supporting our operating budget through the Annual Fund, helping families determine optimal Planned Giving options for their situation, and exciting events that fund special projects.

We invite you to be a part of providing a distinctively Christian college-preparatory education that emphasizes leadership and fosters a caring environment with clear boundaries.

Planned Giving allows donors to increase their support through estate gift planning and can be adapted to each donor’s needs. The donor can leave money/assets to a nonprofit at his/her death; or a way to invest money so that the donor receives benefits during his/her life and then bequeaths the remaining funds to the nonprofit. Because Planned Giving is a complex program of various financial instruments, LCCS enlists professional help in setting up their planned giving programs. Contact our Development Office for more information.

End of the Year Giving provides a means of supporting the programs of LCCS through tax deductible gifts at the close of the calendar year. LCCS conducts an End-of-the-Year giving campaign from October to December 31 each year.

Matching Gifts are provided by many companies to encourage employees to contribute to charitable organizations. Most of these programs match contributions dollar for dollar, and some will even double or triple the amount of your gift. Some companies also provide matching funds to support employee volunteer hours. Find out if your company offers a matching gift program by contacting Kim Belton.

Designated Giving allows the donor to give from the heart to the specific area of LCCS that has special interest for him/her. Examples of options that might be selected include: Annual Fund Campaign, Technology, ASPIRE Program, Tuition Assistance, Athletics, or Fine Arts.
