High School Chemistry Teacher

Lake Country Christian School in Fort Worth, Texas, is seeking qualified candidates for the position of High School Chemistry Teacher. Potential candidates for this full-time position should be experienced, state certified or ACSI certified teachers of Science. This position involves teaching both Pre-AP and AP courses- Advanced Placement teaching experience is preferred. Candidates should have a solid biblical worldview and be committed to discipleship in the context of teaching and relating to students. Evidence of excellent interpersonal skills requisite for relating to staff, peers, students and parents should be provided. Candidates must be comfortable utilizing 1:1 technology as a vehicle for administrating Science courses and enhancing the learning environment. The Science Teacher will be expected to:
• Relate positively to administrators, faculty, students and parents
• Evidence a vital relationship with Jesus Christ
• Biblically integrate Science syllabi, lesson plans, and instruction
• Prepare excellent, engaging lessons that facilitate success for students with a variety of learning needs
• Participate in Advanced Placement training as requested by the administration
• Collaborate with high school faculty to create an optimum learning experience for all high school students
• Utilize 1:1 technology as a vehicle for administrating Science courses and enhancing learning in the classroom
• Familiarize themselves with the policies and procedures of Lake Country Christian School and support and implement them in the classroom and school

Director of Theater

Lake Country Christian School is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Director of Theater for the 2018-19 school year. Potential candidates for the position of Director of Theater should be an experienced teacher of theater, director of musical theater, plays and tech theater. This full-time position will include yearly direction of a high school Broadway style musical, high school play, and a middle school Broadway musical or play. The Director of Theater will teach a high school level theater class technical theater class and a middle school theater class on a rotating set of fine arts classes. This position will work cooperatively with the Music Department and the Artistic Director in most productions. This position requires afterschool and weekend rehearsals for productions. Candidates should have a solid biblical worldview and be committed to discipleship in the context of teaching and relating to students. Evidence of excellent interpersonal skills requisite for relating to staff, peers, students and parents should be provided. A balanced emphasis on exemplary classroom management and effective teacher/student relationships is expected. Dance Teams Coach/Lower School Dance Instructor

Lake Country Christian School is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Dance Teams Coach for the 2018-19 school year.  Potential candidates for the position should be experienced in coaching dance teams and teaching lower school dance. This part-time stipend position includes coaching both middle school and upper school dance teams in addition to teaching lower school dance in the afterschool School of the Arts program. Candidates must be mature Christians, active in a local church. Candidates should have a solid biblical worldview and be committed to discipleship in the context of teaching and relating to students. Director of Visual Art

Lake Country Christian School is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Director of Visual Art. Potential candidates for the position should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience and state teacher certification. Candidates should have experience teaching AP Studio Art and Pre-AP Art classes. This position is responsible for overseeing the art curriculum for kindergarten through 12th
grade and working with the elementary art teacher to ensure vertical alignment. The Director of Visual Art coordinates all art shows as well as local and state art competitions. This full-time position will include teaching grades 6-12 and assisting with the School of the Arts private lesson program. The LCCS art program has seen tremendous success in the past several years with 2 TAPPS state art
championships, the Congressional Art Competition, Betsy Price Art Competition, and the ACSI regional competition. Candidates must be mature Christians and active in a local church. Instrumental Private Lesson - Percussion Instructor

Lake Country Christian School is seeking qualified candidates for the position of percussion instructor for the 2018-19 school year.  This position is a part-time position (1-2 days/week) and duties include: teaching private lessons, team teaching band sectionals, assisting Director of Bands as needed, and assisting with contests/concerts. Candidates should hold a degree(s) in percussion performance or music education with percussion emphasis. Candidates must be mature Christians, active in a local church, and interact well with students and faculty. LCCS Band Program has had great success with students excelling at the region/area/state levels. Candidates will be expected to support the policies and procedures of Lake Country Christian School. Activity Bus Drivers

Lake Country Christian School is seeking qualified candidates for Activity Bus Drivers. Candidates must be mature Christians, active in a local church, and interact well with students. They must also have a CDL with Class B endorsement and bus driver training certification, along with a clean driving record per insurance requirements.
