Activity Bus Drivers - $20/hour

LCCS is seeking qualified candidates for Activity Bus Drivers! This is not a bus route position but for extracurricular trips such as field trips, retreats, athletics, and fine arts competitions, etc.

Qualifications and expectations:

  • Must be a mature Christian, active in a local church, and must interact well with students
  • Must have a clean driving record per insurance requirements
  • Must have a CDL with Class B endorsement
  • $20 per hour with paid training/licensing

Substitute Teacher

We are currently accepting applications for substitute teachers in all school divisions. This is a great way to enjoy a flexible schedule while supporting classes at LCCS. We primarily are in need of substitute teachers, we do occasionally need substitutes in different office positions.

Middle School Math Teacher

LCCS is seeking a qualified Middle School Math Teacher for the 2023-2024 school year.

  1. Provide instruction in a variety of Middle School level Math Courses up to Algebra 1.
  2. Bachelor’s degree in Math or a related field is required. Current state or ACSI teaching certification is preferred.
  3. Previous teaching experience is highly preferred.
  4. All candidates must:
    • exhibit clear evidence of an active relationship with Jesus Christ
    • be willing to sign and adhere to the school statement of faith
    • be willing and able to disciple students in their walk with the Lord.
    • be active and engaged in a local church

6th Grade ELAR

LCCS is seeking a qualified Intermediate School ELAR Teacher for the 2023-2024 school year.

  1. Provide instruction in a variety of Middle School level English Courses..
  2. Bachelor’s degree in English or a related field is required. Current state or ACSI teaching certification is preferred.
  3. Previous teaching experience is highly preferred.
  4. All candidates must:
    • exhibit clear evidence of an active relationship with Jesus Christ
    • be willing to sign and adhere to the school statement of faith
    • be willing and able to disciple students in their walk with the Lord.
    • be active and engaged in a local church

Custodial Worker

The Custodial worker will work under minimal supervision by performing all types of flooring care. The custodial worker is responsible for applying basic custodial duties throughout the building to ensure the facilities are clean, safe, and functional.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  •     Perform basic custodial tasks of cleaning all facilities.
  •     Floor maintenance includes but not limited to sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping all areas.
  •     Regularly check community spaces, parking lots, sidewalks, gyms, and all fields to identify issues with litter. Pull trash and take it to large dumpsters.
  •     Replace lighting and ceiling tiles on an as needed basis.
  •     Set up and tear down for events.
  •     Close down campus, by checking doors, perimeter gates, and secure building alarms nightly.
  •     Other duties as assigned.

OTHER SKILLS REQUIRED

  •     Experience with floor machines, and ladders, and not afraid of heights.
  •     Ability to work with hardware tools and power equipment.
  •     Must be able to lift 100 pounds and stand or walk for a 7.5-hour workday.
  •     Must be able to pull, push, sit, bend, reach, move or carry equipment.
  •     Must adapt well to changing work situations.
  •     Extremely organized with good communication skills.
  •     Strong character and Christian testimony. 

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE 

  •     High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
  •     A minimum of 2 years working experience in a similar role.
