LCCS HOMECOMING 2019

Schedule of Events for Friday, Sept. 20

  • All-School Super Spirit Red, White, and Blue Day: ALL students are encouraged to wear more than their standard Eagle Red attire to school on Friday—bows and bling and bells and bangles in all those colors, colored hair and painted faces, too! Dress code-appropriate but over the top!
  • LCCS Spirit Ribbons will be sold by cheerleaders to elementary and middle school students after drop-off, $3/each
  • Homecoming Parade & Pep Rally: The pep rally will begin at 3:10 and will dismissal will be at 3:45. As always, it will include the Homecoming Court. Our parade of students will begin in high school and other grades will be added to the group as it proceeds through the school toward the Byers Center. Parents – line the crosswalk (Chapel to Byers) in support of our students. After all classes have passed, parents can proceed to the pep rally.
  • Family Tailgate: Join us on the west end of Eagle Stadium (see map, scoreboard end of field but outside the admission gates) starting at 5:00. Bring cornhole, washers, and other games to enjoy fellowship with other Eagle families. Concessions will be available.
  • Alumni Events: Tour @ 6:20, and Recognition on the field and group photo during pre-game events @ 7:00, see alumni section for full details.
  • Football Game:
    • Gates open at 6:00, Admission is $6 for adults and $3 for students.
    • Pre-Game Activities begin at 7:00
    • Kickoff at 7:30 LCCS vs Woodlands Christian
    • Half-Time will include the Homecoming Court Presentation and the crowning of our Homecoming King and Queen.
  • #EagleSpirit: check-in, tag us and use our official hashtag, #lccseagles when you post your photos!

Welcome Home, Alumni! 

    • Alumni Tours: 6:20. Meet at the flagpole by the elementary entrance.
    • Alumni Recognition and Group Photo: During the pre-game activities starting at 7:00 on the field at Eagle Stadium.

High School Spirit Week

High School Spirit Days cover the entire week of festivities! Note: Monday-Thursday Spirit Days are only for high school students, elementary and middle school are NOT included but can participate in celebrating Super Spirit Red, White, & Blue Friday!

Homecoming King and Queen: Presented at the pep rally, and again during halftime at the homecoming football game when the King and Queen will be crowned.
